Constitution, Bylaws & GPT

The ‘Rules of the Association’ are defined in its Constitution and these may only be varied, deleted or added to at a Special General Meeting (SGM) or an Annual General Meeting (AGM).  Prior to a Special General Meeting held in September 2010, this Constitution was in place.  As of 27th November 2010, the new Constitution is in place.

CONSTITUTION

The Bylaws may be varied, deleted or added to at a General Meeting (GM), Special General Meeting (SGM), an Annual General Meeting (AGM) or by the Board of Directors.

Introduced in 2010, the GDSFA General Purpose Tribunal (GPT) handles matters that are brought to its attention, other than Judiciary matters. The GPT’s ‘Rules of Play’ explain the type of incidents that will be addressed, the composition of the panel and its powers.

As well as operating under our own Bylaws, Football NSW’s Bylaws act as an over-arching set of regulations and, if a conflict exists, they overrule those of the GDSFA.
