Grass roots and representative football set to shine in 2018.
It is no secret 2017 was going to be a challenging year for the Granville Soccer Association and its representative arm, Parramatta FC.
In meeting these challenges and preparing for the future, the Board now has new talent and leadership with business and football acumen to drive the Association forward. The appointment of CEO Mike Quarmby provides valuable administrative and political experience to complete the team.
The Board has a clear vision for the Association which is embodied in its comprehensive 3 year strategic plan that focuses on growth, the community and delivering a positive game day experience for its 23 member clubs. You can access the strategic plan on our website under library.
For Parramatta FC, in June a comprehensive plan was undertaken to ensure for 2018 that Parramatta FC will again compete for honours.
I would like to announce, Mr Steve Elriche Treasurer of Granville Association, businessman and local community leader who will be responsible to lead the club forward into the future.
Steve will lead a committee represented by Business and Marketing professionals as well as a fully resourced operational team that will ensure the club meets its objectives.
The key objectives of the club is to ensure it is community focused with a clear pathway for our up and coming players within the Association, having quality coaches, including Technical Directors and a professional discipline that we can be proud of.
“As a child I have great memories coming to the stadium and being excited to watch Parramatta FC play. I want that same excitement to return to Parramatta FC by showcasing our elite players and the very best of what our Association and our diverse communities have to offer”, said Steve.
